Summary
Astarion was supposed to meet someone important today after crash landing on the beach, but he didn’t. Now he’s stuck playing the leader’s role for her while an unhelpful skeleton insists he track her down and drag her back to where she belongs. His thoughts are no longer his own, forced to remember a love he never asked for and doesn't want anything to do with. If he can survive the journey though, he'll free them both once and for all from this prison of fate he didn't know he was in.
Alternatively: "Wouldn't it be interesting if Astarion could see just how many times I've played this exact story line because I can't ever seem to choose anyone else?" I asked myself one night, not realizing I would become possessed with the need to answer my own question.

Summary
Six months after the defeat of the Netherbrain, Astarion and Tav are happy together. Sure, Astarion would like to know more about his famously tight-lipped lover and what he wants, but he'll be content with the knowledge that Tav loves him deeply. His shadowy past comes to a forefront after the reunion party, when Astarion wakes up to the love of his life trying to kill him.
In another timeline, Astarion finally gets the perfect chance to kill Tav - or, as Tav insists on being called, the 'Master'. It doesn't quite work out the way he intends. In fact, quite out of nowhere, Tav doesn't seem particularly evil or monstrous at all... which he might be able to work to his advantage.
Both Tavs seem intent on getting back to their proper timeline... with very different intentions in mind.

Eve awakens in a grand, unfamiliar city, confused and covered in blood but without visible injuries. Disoriented and struggling with fragmented memories, she wanders the streets in search of answers, haunted by the sense of time lost. Her primary focus is finding Astarion, the one person she remembers clearly, as she tries to unravel the mystery of her missing past and what has happened during her absence.

"It's over. I'm done with it," Astarion's voice was a broken whisper, barely audible over his sobs. He was speaking to himself, affirming the end of a chapter steeped in torment. The sight was heartbreaking. Sad. He knelt there for a moment, as if trying to believe what had happened.
Then, rising from the ground and lifting his bloodshot eyes to meet Tav's, his expression twisted into something bitter and cold. "And I'm done with you," he spat out venomously.
Tav's step faltered, her hand still suspended in the air. Confusion and hurt welled up inside her. "What?" she stammered, her mind racing to make sense of his words. He was in shock, surely. The trauma, the bloodshed, it had to be too much.
But Astarion's voice cut through her thoughts, icy and trembling with a raw edge of emotion she had never heard before. "I would say good luck out there, but honestly?" His gaze was piercing, unyielding. "I hope you die." The words slithered out like a curse, each syllable dripping with a venom that chilled her to the bone.
Astarion narrowed his eyes, leaned towards her and whispered ominously, only to her. “Screaming.”

When they find a clue to the whereabouts of the sunwalker ring, Tav is determined to help her friend obtain it for himself. On the way, they discover things about one another while grappling with unexpected feelings.

Summary
Del landed somewhere on the Sword Coast seconds before dying, with only the clothes on her back and a few now useless items in her purse. When confronting the reality she was now faced with, she realized she was going to need to start her life all over again in a world she was only slightly familiar with. With no skills worthy of a life in Faerun, she must somehow relearn how to survive.
When she finally does so, however, her world is turned upside down once again as she is pulled into a battle of a lifetime - a battle she’s fought before, but in a video game. Forced to run into familiar faces, retracing steps in a story she’s played before, Del struggles to maintain her facade. Her companions can never find out she’s done all of this before… and that she knows all possible branching paths the adventure could take them on. Can she keep her secrets to herself?

Summary
When he wakes up, he's not himself. Not that he can remember what being 'himself' even means. All he has is a pounding headache and a name, 'The Dark Urge'.
Oh, and memories of the real world and over 500 plus hours of playtime in Baldur's Gate 3.
Now he's stuck inside the game, with no idea how he got there or what the fuck is going on. And very quickly, he'll realise that the real world of Faerun is nothing like the game. Shit hurts, there's no maps, fast travel, or save scumming. And people are far more complicated than simple video game characters.
If he can keep himself alive and make it through this, perhaps there's something waiting for him in Faerun, a life he can build for himself. But the urge is just as real as everything else, and it's out for blood.
All he wants is to find his freedom before the game kills him or the urge overtakes him.

Summary
Now she gets it. Now Tav understands why Astarion is spouting honeyed, hollow words at her. This seduction was not genuine, but a tactic. She felt a twinge of disappointment at this revelation but didn’t let it show on her face. Her time in the Underdark should have prepared her for such manipulations. After all, the primary purpose of conversation is not to simply exchange information but rather to improve one’s standing by any means necessary. At least, that was the attitude instilled in her by her drow parents. Only a handful of people have ever tried to sexually toy with her, but she did not expect Astarion to pull that ruse on her.
TL:DR Tav, suspicious of any flirting directed at her, sees through Astarion’s honeypot scheme. While she does not want to say no, she can’t say yes right now.

Things are just about perfect until the day that a vampire shows up on the couple’s doorstep in broad daylight claiming to be Astarion. This version of the beloved vampire, though, went through with ascending.
