The stability that George provided himself earlier ensures their fall isn't quite the same as before. Somehow, Sapnap’s chin lands just beneath George's, whose eyes are drooped and flooded with something unexplainable Sapnap feels a tug on his chest suddenly suffocate in. A shaky exhale releases from the Brits lips at the close proximity of their faces, and lips, to be more precise to George’s own thoughts.
“Sapnap…” George whispers delicately, barely even there. So much so that Sapnap thinks he might not have said anything at all.
The four times George and Sapnap almost kiss, and the one time they do.

That is until one fateful night, a storm rolls around and they end up trapped alone together in an alcove of trees on the beach after an altercation. Will tensions be the only thing rising or will something else make an appearance?
(Not following timeline exactly, its like beginning of S1, but featuring S2 Rafe (appearance-wise) because he was way too hot.)

“Like… I don’t know.” Sapnap exhales, playing with that hem of his sweatshirt sleeve. “It just feels like everything’s the same. Like, we’ve gone to this high school for four years and it’s all just… over. And nothing crazy happened.”
Something crazy did happen.
He doesn’t say that.
With graduation coming up, both Dream and Sapnap dread future change; but maybe it’s the present they should be worrying about.
