Robby smiled, but Jack could see the tiredness in his eyes, so he was quick to reassure him.
“Nothing big. Just sneak through here and shower, we’ll be in the living room.”
Another kiss, and Jack herded Robby through their rarely used second entrance. He made sure his husband went towards their En suite, before he went back to the kitchen.

After almost slipping a few times, earning a small gasp from the person closely following him, he threw himself into his father’s arms.
Thorin wrapped his arms around his son and swirled around as he rose from his knees, earning a laugh from the boy. A familiar laughter drew Thorin's attention and his colder blue eyes met Bilbo's warm amber ones. They both smiled."
Originally things do not look so bright for our dear dwarfs and hobbit, but here I give you my ultimate happy ending. Sweet relationships, children and thriving kingdoms! And some explanations as to how things turned around.

It was dark, only the faint glow from the dying fire gave him some kind of help whilst looking around. His eyes locked on the silhouette of Glóin, he was supposed to be keeping watch, but the red-head was fast asleep - snoring to his hearts contents.
Bofur couldn’t help but chuckle, but he was soon distracted by the same sound that had awoken him.
Somewhere in the distance, most likely (well hopefully) from the camp, a soft whimpering could be heard. -
