Stares at the side of Kacchan’s face and maps out every beautiful feature to imprint on memory—the line of his jaw, the divot right below his lip, the deep red of his eyes. If he looks hard enough at all the good things he can forget about Kacchan leaving, he hopes.
But when the departure hall calls for his flight, something inside Izuku snaps and he utterly, utterly breaks.
Right then, the distance between New York and Musutafu—spanning over ten thousand kilometres—doesn't feel as far as the distance between their dreams.
