Summary
“The end of my suffering, and the end of everyone’s suffering.” The first path rewrites history. Dream didn't know what he expected, perhaps divine punishment, mabe even death.
He did not expect a paralell world.
Dream has already watched one world destroy itself. He has buried friendships, survived wars, and endured months inside Pandora's Vault. In this world, kings wear crowns instead of holding elections. L'Manburg still stands. Wilbur Soot has not yet learned how to smile through madness. And Dream himself wakes in a body that is no longer human, carrying memories no one else remembers. But some tragedies seem determined to repeat themselves.
Kingdoms burn, revolutions raise and fall.
Monsters can be broken. Or so they say.Reborn in a world where L'Manburg is a kingdom and old tragedies wear new faces, Dream finds himself desperately trying to save people who have never known him—only to fall into the hands of men he had hoped never to see again.
History has been rewritten.
But suffering, it seems, remembers.Old habits are so hard to break. It's just... so easy, to shift the narrative in his favor, to hoard information and resources before anyone else can.
