    “Henry,” Alex says, holding out a hand to shake.

    “Alex,” Henry says. “Well done. As a younger, slightly less reliable child myself, I think you’ve executed your brief perfectly – ensuring your elder sibling appears to best advantage.” He nods at June, who smiles back.

    “Cute. Thanks,” Alex says. Jesus Christ. Why does he always want to murder this guy?

    I’ll be honest, I hated how Henry and Alex (and their friends) aren’t characterized like I know and love them.

    But …

    Chapter 1 was so well written that I kept reading and reading. And now I’m sure I want to reread, so I bookmarked this.

    —> okay, I only now knowvthat this is what this author does. But the fic is always captivating and I want to bookmark all the fics they write..
