Win always knew that Sound was objectively attractive. He usually detested that about him. It was just another thing for him to hold above everyone else’s head. But that simple fact had never been truer than it was at this moment. Because Sound’s cheeks were a delightful shade of red, and his lips were even redder. His pupils were blown wide, like he didn’t want to miss a second of Win’s expression.
Win didn’t know what expression he was making. He was struck stupid, and his face probably reflected that. He didn’t know what Sound saw in his eyes, but he seemed to like whatever it was. Because he smiled. A soft, genuine smile that Win had never seen before. Win’s heart squeezed. Something shifted in his chest, clicking into place, a void being filled that he didn’t know was there in the first place.
He knew right then and there that he was doomed.
