But they soon discover that Ra's was not the same man anymore, and that applies to Tim as well.Tim has his own plans, in which the Waynes are not a part of it. While the Waynes try to reconnect, Tim learns that sometimes, the right family is not the first one nor the second.
Bane is here as well, and a man without a purpose anymore learns that he can care again.

“I just wanted to be loved,” Tim chokes out.
The world stops.
His family freezes in horror.
Tim’s eyes burn, tears slipping sideways into his hair.
“Was that too much to ask for?”
No one answers.
