“We sucked. Okay? I sucked. I’m distracted, and I played like shit, and it won’t happen again. Happy?”
Hayden looks at him like he’s grown a second head. “No? I don’t—Shane, what the hell is going on?”
Shane clenches his jaw.
“Is this about Rozanov?” Hayden asks, face rearranging into something puzzled. “He’s been gone for two weeks now. You can’t let that shit cloud your judgement.”
Chest constricting, Shane exhales sharply. “He’s been gone two weeks, and no one knows where he is.”
OR: right before summer rolls around, Ilya Rozanov disappears.

Summary
Shane climbs on top of him then, swinging a muscular thigh over Ilya’s shoulder, and then he’s seated on Ilya’s chest, his knees framing Ilya’s head, leaning back so he can still look down and lock eyes with him. “You can do this, can’t you? Just be good and keep that mouth open for me. Let me grind on your tongue, make myself feel good since you can’t do it.”
And it’s a lie, of course it is, both of them know Ilya was making Shane feel so good he couldn’t even handle it, but fuck. Ilya nods, desperate and dizzy with it, opening his mouth already, showing his tongue off to Shane like he’s proving himself, look at me, I can follow commands, I can open my mouth for you, I can stick my tongue out and pant for you like a fucking dog, he thinks.
“Fuck, you look stupid,” is the last thing Shane says before he lifts his hips up, taking his weight off of Ilya’s chest, and lowers himself down until his cheeks are smothering Ilya, until Ilya’s tongue is right against his hole, warm and engulfing, and Shane’s balls are resting heavy on his face.

Summary
“It’s okay. I don’t need anything.”
“I am not going to eat in front of you while you have nothing, Hollander,” Ilya scoffs. He plucks a can of cold ginger ale from the top shelf as casually as he can manage and slides it over the island, interrupting Hollander’s fidgeting thumbs. “You must be hungry, yes? It’s been hours since you left hotel. I can make something. Easy.”
“Make… what?” he asks warily.
Ilya rolls his eyes and tosses a look over his shoulder. “Do not worry. I will find something that works for your special hockey diet,” he teases. He reaches back into the fridge. “Tuna melt okay?”
“No,” Hollander says primly. “And it’s a disease. Not a diet.”
He pulls his hands out of the cold and turns, blinks. “What?”
