Morgan needs Karadec’s touch to know he’s there. She of course can see him, see his smiles directed at her or the rolling of his eyes at something ridiculous she’s said. She can hear him laugh when she catches him off guard or listens to him lecture her about being safe. She has all these ways to know here’s there, that he’s present.
But the comfort of his touch? It has an effect on her nothing else does. The way it calms her when her mind spirals out of control. The way it steadies her when she feels on uneven ground.
She knows his touch. She feels the comfort from it every time it’s freely given.But this isn’t comfort. This is wildfire. Uncontrolled and burning up everything in its sight.

Or Morgan and Karadec go undercover and deal with the elephant in the room. The elephant being their unfortunate constant need to be in each others personal space of course.
