Orion wonders if he will ever be seen as him, wonders if anyone will see him past his labels — or his past. He wishes to have his soul seen, to feel loved in a way more than comprehensive. He wants to to love as well, but due to his past it's extremely hard to love in a normal way.
Harvey, his friend from middle school, which is also now his roommate — has been dealing with a lot internally. He never felt romantic attraction before, doesn't know if he ever will. But, Orion makes him feel loved in a that doesn't need to be romantic to be fulfilling. He adores Orion, even if he doesn't show it Orion has made his life so much better — and also helped his food palette grow. :)
