Summary
Shane and Ilya are both graduate students studying planetary science. They don't always see eye-to-eye.
AKA a collection of dabbles in which I put Hollanov into real(ish) situations I've encountered during my own graduate studies. Written as the ideas come to me, so don't expect them to be in any kind of chronological / narrative order. I've banished them to Toronto both because that's what I know and because Montreal's terrible sidewalk management broke my streak of not eating shit on ice the last time I visited.

OR: Ilya's teammates go with him to visit Hollander at the hospital and a high-on-painkillers Shane can't keep his mouth shut. Ilya learns that when it comes down to it, ice is thicker than blood.
