Um suspiro saiu de seus lábios quando sentiu a brisa fria indo de encontro ao seu corpo quando elas saíram de casa. A porta havia sido fechada e Mina se moveu para entrar na porta traseira do carro, ajustando as malas no espaço que tinha para os pés e em cima do banco vazio. Seus olhos se ergueram para encarar o rosto de seu pai. Ela não o encarava exatamente nos olhos, ainda era difícil para Mina manter muito contato visual, então fixou em qualquer canto que não fosse os olhos dele, o que era quase sempre entre os olhos ou perto da testa. Ela podia ver o sorriso no rosto dele, mas sabia pelos ombros tensos demais e os dedos batucando o volante que ele estava nervoso.
Akira estava vendo sua filha finalmente sair da colônia e ir viver a independência que sempre quis, mesmo que com medo.
Ele só esperava que ela voltasse para a colônia.
Que voltasse para eles.

“I- No- I didn’t say that-!” Sana panicked, shaking her head so fast her glasses nearly flew off her face, "It’s not that either, it’s just- I don’t think about it like that, I swear-”
“God, you’re really bad at this.” Mina murmured, her smile widening.
Before Sana could react, Mina stepped closer and reached out, fingers brushing through Sana’s hair in a quick, patronising ruffle, like she was praising a well meaning but hopeless puppy.
“It’s okay,” Mina cooed, "You don’t have to explain yourself to me.”
Sana stood there, stunned, face burning, hands still uselessly hovering over her crotch as Mina withdrew.
Mina slung her purse over her shoulder and turned toward the door, pausing just long enough to glance back and smile.
“See you around, Sana.”
