Summary
Taking place right after Chu Wanning's seclusion, Mo Ran hears the news that his shizun has awoken...But he doesn't feel as excited as he should be. He feels scared. He too, has been having dreams of his past life, and as much as he tries to push them away, in the end Taxian-Jun and Mo Ran are both Mo Weiyu. He tries to get more involved with Chu Wanning to distract himself, but it only makes him worse. Meanwhile, Chu Wanning notices things are wrong..and wonders if maybe he really should have left Mo Ran to die.

Macaque digs up some old relics, and finds the fillet used on Wukong ages ago. He decides to test it on MK, but he needs Wukong’s permission. Things don’t go quite as planned, and some extreme measures need to be taken. MK becomes temporary immortal, letting Macaque to hurt him as much as we wants. Too much pain leads to MK giving in, and falling under Macaques orders, fighting against his friends like a puppet.
