Summary
Gojo Satoru grapples with his own existential loneliness when a delusional man calling himself an angel seemingly falls from the sky.
Is he breathing? Where the fuck did he come from?
Satoru thinks about the lead up to this moment but can’t make sense of it. He wonders how long this man must have been washed up on the beach before Satoru noticed. Because surely, logically, he did not fall out of the sky. Something definitely had. Satoru knows he saw the approach of something burning. He watched as it got bigger in the night sky, and heard it hit the sand. Something fell out of the sky, but it was not a person. Couldn’t have been. Because people don’t do that.

Summary
‘“You can’t go alone Harry,” Hermione said, trying to lift herself to her feet but giving up with a squeak, “You need help!”
“No,” Harry said firmly, “This is my decision to run off to try and save Sirius, no one else’s - and you need help Hermione! Look at your ankle!”
“How are you even getting there?” Ron demanded, “'Cause if you want to floo, it looks like we both need to go back up to the castle,” he cried triumphantly.
The answer to his question came in the form of a sudden insistent tugging at the sleeve of Harry’s robe. He flinched back, and looked down to find the skeletal head of doe-eyed Thestral following the path of his hand in an attempt to lick off the blood that coated his arm. Harry froze for a minute, then grinned. He knew exactly how he was getting to London.’—
When Harry made the choice to leave his friends behind, and rescue Sirius from the Department of Mysteries on his own, he had never imagined what the consequences might be.

Bookmarker's Notes
I will be updating this, just know that this is one of the best things that I have ever read. The storytelling is absolutely beautiful and the characters felt so alive and you were feeling everything with them. Truly one of a kind.
EDIT 6/6/26: when i say that this fic changed my life, it changed my life. the way that the author handled every situation with care was on a whole other level. the relationships were so beautiful and there were a few that caught me by surprise but they fit so well within the story that i didn't mind. the writing deserves a standing ovation on its own. i truly believe that the writing enabled me to express emotions that i did not allow myself to feel. this fic was a rollercoaster of emotions however i do feel that this fic healed something within me that i didn't know needed to be healed.

Summary
The first time they meet, Suguru and Satoru do not like each other. Arrogant, cocky, insufferable, they think. Despite the smirks Shoko gives Suguru, or the sighs Yaga gives Satoru, they do not like each other.
Until a mission changes that.

Summary
“Is it really him?” Satoru asks, becoming serious.
Shoko sticks the cigarette in her mouth and takes her time lighting it. It’s not exactly proper bedside manner, but right now, it’s just the two of them, and neither of them care. “All traces of whatever it was possessing him are gone,” she answers slowly after taking a deep drag. “It’s him, alright. But you knew that already.”
Gojo Satoru wakes up.
