Summary
In one glorious half-hour, Alastor has broken or completed three contracts, freed himself from two separate forms of bondage, and enjoyed a rousing jaunt through nearly half the Pentagram. Incidentally, he may also have shattered Vox’s psyche and his heart. But you know what they say about making omelettes; that was a price he was prepared to pay.
He is less prepared to be personally tasked with unscrambling the eggs.

Summary
Vincent Whittman, a power chaser playboy in his early 40s, works as a news broadcast co-host for a local network in 1943 Chicago. Everyone is enamoured with him, yet that doesn't seem to be enough for him: he lives in the shadow of his (more experienced) colleague, stuck in the same position for the past 10 months, with no sight of a promotion anytime soon. So when one day he's offered to interview a guy who's allegedly saved Illinois' Governor's wife from an armed robber, he jumps at the opportunity. Yet just as things start to be going his way, Vincent ends up regretting this decision. Because when he finds out that the man he has to interview is a handsome 28 year old sex worker from Puerto Rico, all his certainties about his sexuality crumble to pieces.

Summary
On the brink of Voxtek’s brand name collapse, Valentino and Velvette still won’t talk to him, and his name has sunk lower than Double Hell. It's clear that if he wants to rejoin the Vees and reclaim his title, Vox has to win his partners back.
Dragging them on vacation is a financially horrible decision and couldn’t have worse timing, but who could refuse a free trip to the ring of Sloth?
