Todoroki then finds himself wandering the streets bloody and beaten, luckily for him he runs into his boyfriend who was on his way back from the store.
Back at UA Bakugo and Aizawa make sure he’s taken care of and that punishment is handed out correctly.

Todoroki Shouto had problems.
Naturally, his friends worried. But he had reached out, gotten help, and after hard work and a lot of time, he was doing much better. No, he wasn’t fully healed. Yes, he had his bad days. But recovery wasn’t linear, his therapist liked to remind him, and he was making progress. The problem was, his friends had never really talked about what they had gone through. They had sat with him through panic attacks, been in dozens of ER waiting rooms, and sacrificed so much to make sure he was okay.
Todoroki just wanted to do something nice for his friends to thank them. And of course, he had to do something absolutely phenomenal for one Katsuki Bakugou, who had done everything his friends had, and much more. Distracting them from the anniversary of his attempt was just a plus. That was why he was keeping secrets, avoiding them, and not sleeping. It would all be worth it once they saw the amazing party he was throwing for them.
But in hindsight, he probably should’ve at least told Bakugou.

Shouto is an idiot who just wants to do something nice for his besties. Everyone is stupid.
