Finally, Ilya exhaled hard, shoulders slumping just slightly as he turned around. “I don’t like sharing you.”
“I’m not shared,” Shane said softly. “You’re my boyfriend... he is my best friend.”
Ilya turned back, eyes dark and possessive. “I see the way he looks at you. Because he looks at you the same way I look at you.”
Shane’s mouth fell open, half grinning with amusement. Did Ilya really think Hayden was in love with him?
“Ilya, Hayden has a wife and four kids, what are you talking abo-”

“Come on, Roz,” Cliff almost whined. “Even Hollander is down here holding up the bar or maybe it’s holding him up. Kinda hard to tell at this point. Gonna let him be the life of the party when you won the fucking award?”
The fog in Ilya’s brain shifted and scattered at the name.
