Summary
While awaiting Aragorn's coronation in Minas Tirith, Legolas's attempts to woo Gimli in a very elvish fashion have failed. Unfortunately for Legolas, Gimli is not an elf, and had no idea what was going on. Legolas sets out to get help from the others in an attempt to uncover the secretive ways of dwarfish courting, so that Legolas may reveal his intentions to Gimli in a way that he will understand and appreciate.

Summary
Life after war has much more politics than Gimli thought, and much less Legolas than he would like, but the latter he knows (or believes) he has to get used to. Or: Legolas leaps, occasionally stumbling, into a new age, while Gimli can't see the wood for the (green)leaf.
"How do your people court then?"
The question was not as abrupt as it would seem, firstly because the news that his brother was courting had clearly left Legolas in deep thought for a number of days, secondly because Legolas had long ago confessed his curiosity about the lives and customs of Gimli's kin, and thirdly because Legolas' grace was well-known to be in his light feet and not his manners.
However, Gimli saw no reason to let him have his own way entirely. "And by my people do you mean the Longbeards, or the Dwarves of Erebor, or the wandering mender that I now seem to be?"
"I meant," Legolas said, "wandering jesters."

Clint Barton owns an apartment building he definitely legally acquired, and he has absolutely no reason to avoid any of the Avengers. Weirdly, his new next door tenant with a fake name and a bad haircut also doesn't have any reason to avoid any of the Avengers.The new guy is weird, but not in a bad way. He's weird in the way that makes Clint want to stick around and resist falling for him (as long as no world renowned super powerful agencies step in their way).
