Soft lips swallowed up the rest of his words in a harsh kiss. It was more teeth and biting than anything else, but the Kryptonian's brain was too busy blue-screening to really complain about the technique.

It wasn’t his fault that he preferred the seclusion of the manor he’d been left in his parents’ passing. It might have been his fault that the vampire felt comfortable enough to stick around.
