Summary
Nicholas D. Wolfwood does what he can to make sure his hometown, Hopeland, survives for as long as it can in a new world that is built on the shoulders of an old one. This includes being Hopeland's designated delivery driver alongside his brother, Livio, to deliver shipments to the advanced city of JuLai. One such trip, however, becomes life changing when he and Livio must escort Director Rem Saverem's mysterious son to safety.

Summary
There really is no other word to describe Vash’s room but ‘lonely’. Not even his drawers are filled with his clothes. Still sitting folded in his bag three months later. A life of someone who never knew peace or stability is still present in the way he lives now.
There are no decorations, no signs of his personality—just a family photo and those damn geraniums on the dresser below the window.
Nicholas fucking hates those geraniums.

Vashwood Week Day 7: First Time
"This is what you want, right, Spikey?"
The darkness in Wolfwood's tone made Vash swallow, an odd pulse down south making him shift on his knees as he nodded in response.
"Then, drink up."
Incandescent light caught on the glass, gathering in twinkling points against it and the precious liquor inside and creating little stars in Vash's eyes as the glass slowly tilted down. Initially, the thin stream missed his open lips, making Vash flinch when the cool liquid splashed against his chin. A crude, amused prayer slipped past Wolfwood's lips when Vash leaned forward to correct the trajectory. Alcohol burned his tongue and throat, and he knew his cheeks were burning from far more than his intoxication as he held eye contact with the man before him.
And oh goodness those eyes…

Wolfwood winces and guilt flashes across his face and Vash immediately feels bad for his words.
"Sorry,” Nick apologizes instead. “I'm not good at this stuff."

"Vash should be home. He’s been spending his time either with helping with the kids, or answering Meryl and Milly’s endless questions, or just running around, making a nuisance of himself. He had taken to sitting on a nearby fence or bench, watching Nick work with a lecherous eye and whistling whenever he got up to stretch. Nick can’t admit he doesn’t like the attention.
Still - Vash is always home first. He actively strives to be. Said he liked being the one to welcome Nick home.
