“Jesus, Harrington.” Hargrove’s scrubbing his palms on his scrubs, like he’s trying to wipe off Robin’s cooties. “Just pick anything, it’s not that deep.”
“Whu—” Steve sputters, because seriously, what the hell does Hargrove know? “Then you come up with something, asshole!”
Hargrove’s mouth snaps shut. Clearly the dickhead didn’t think Steve was gonna call him on it. Chewing his lip for a minute, Hargrove’s eyes dart around the room. Then, slowly, like he’s sounding out the letters, he grumbles, “… Arnold.”
That sounds… familiar. Why is that familiar? Wait a fucking second. “Like the Terminator guy?”
Hargrove bristles, crossing his arms defensively. “Yeah, Harrington, like the Terminator guy.”

Billy comes back from the dead, Steve gets strong-armed into letting him crash on his couch, and more or less winds up championing the asshole’s character development. (Also, there’s a baby somewhere in the mix.)

Summary

It's October 1984, and Demogorgons are still coming to Hawkins from the Upside Down, opening gates around Hawkins Lab. Every night, Steve patrols the woods, hoping to stop them before they kill anyone else.
Hawkins has had a hard year.
When the new guy that's been giving him shit in gym class is attacked by a Demogorgon, Steve saves his life. Now if only he would stop turning up in dangerous places in various states of injury... Because Demogorgons are attracted to blood.

Summary
Billy's got one chance to become Max's guardian after a run in with Neil. Problem is, his reputation doesn't paint him as the responsible type. Enter Steve Harrington, perfect pretty boy and savior of the downtrodden and he's got a proposal: if Billy can't be Max's guardian alone, they can do it together. All they've got to do is fake a marriage.
Easy, right?
Problem is they're going to have to fake a relationship AND an engagement first and they only have two weeks to convince Harrington's family and Max's social worker that they're really in love.
The bigger problem: Billy might be a little in love already.
