Bø war bis 5 Meter vorher mit der Nase vorne, doch Doll legte noch einen aller Letzen Sprint hin und so fuhren sie gleichzeitig ins Ziel. Während Tarjei Bø, der Bruder von Tiengens Bø, als dritter ins Ziel kam, gab es vom Foto finish immer noch kein Ergebnis.
