Jack was a normal, albeit self-important, young businessman. Up until he wasn't.
Problem A: He woke up in the body of the unfathomably handsome teenage boy residing in T.M. Riddle's diary.
Problem B: This apparently meant that he was somehow transported into the world of Harry Potter, a property of which he hardly knew anything about.
Light at the End of the Tunnel A: He managed to attain a physical body.
Problem C: Everyone and their mother was of the belief that he was Voldemort's son, and therefore destined to kill them all. Harry Potter himself seemed unshakably sure of the notion that Jack was out to kill him.
Problem—well, maybe he ought to leave some of the alphabet for everybody else.

Summary
Durrakas, Dragonborn Cleric of Bahamut, renowned for his virtues and world-saving adventures, now stood as the Champion of Bahamut. When Durrakas and his friends are called to fight an avatar of his God's arch-nemesis, the battle takes an unexpected turn. He is forced to make a desperate choice, and as a consequence he finds himself in an unfamiliar land, with his power weakened and the connection to his God frayed and dim.
While exploring the world he found himself in, he learns of a mad tyrant plaguing these lands. His principles refuse to allow the tyrant's reign to continue, and he wows to fight against yet another evil.
Yet, a chance meeting will lead him to learn that the nature of the world is far from anything he ever expected.

Summary
So here's the thing about getting hit by a truck: you're supposed to wake up in a hot anime boy's harem or whatever. Not in the body of a B-list superhero from a show you only half-paid attention to while eating takeout.
But no. She's in The Boys universe now. Stuck as Starlight. Surrounded by sociopaths in spandex. And her only goal is to not get lasered into fine red mist by Evil Superman with mommy issues.
Simple, right? Just stay quiet, don't draw attention, and definitely don't say anything that makes Homelander like her.
Except she panics. And overshares. And accidentally says something about how lonely he must be, looking down at everyone, never having anyone who can just stand next to him.
And now he's looking at her like she's the first person who's ever seen him.
She didn't want this. She didn't ask for this. She just wants to go back to her apartment and her shitty Wi-Fi and her complete lack of mortal peril.
But Homelander doesn't let go of things he wants.

Summary
Transmigration into any fictional universe seemed like sort of a raw deal - but she was glad not to be dead. Plus, out of all "The Boys" characters she could’ve been delt, Gecko was a pretty convenient pick in such a violent world.
