Summary
Walking home from the merch store, Shen Yuan fiddled with the jade bracelet. He had just gotten it because it was PIDW merch, though the person's description of it was a little weird, telling him it had a natural scent blocker embedded into it.
As Shen Yuan was walking, he noticed that the ground seemed to have started disappearing beneath his feet. Shen Yuan futilely tried to avoid the growing void beneath him, using his cultivation to attempt his escape. The void, however, claimed him too fast for such an action to work.
In the rising shadow that swallows him, Shen Yuan despairs, hoping that wherever he ends up doesn’t kill him. When Shen Yuan wakes up, however, he finds himself having landed on a big table surrounded by 12 peak lords of Cang Qiong Mountain. The last thing he thinks just before he passes out is that he should’ve never read Proud Immortal Demon Way…

pure vanilla is sent back in time to before the beasts were corrupted. the only issue, however, is the fact that he had somehow ended up back in his body from when he was a child! will he find a way to return to his own time? or will he be reluctant to leave, as the longer he stays the more attached to the domesticity of the life around him he becomes?
oh and he keeps having to dodge the various adoption attempts from a certain fount of knowledge! oh well... who knows just what'll happen next?

The System's OOC function won't unlock all at once - instead, character traits have to be added individually, through quests.
This leads to Shen Qingqiu having to jump through endless hoops just to complete enough side quests to unlock the ability to be a decent person - all while avoiding the effects it has on those around him.
If only the cheapskate System wouldn't keep changing the cost of point values - he needs to know what the hell Yue Qingyuan told the others about him that makes them all look so sad when he does manage to be nice! He's breaking his back here, can't we just appreciate his work?! -

And at least this is not a harem otome, even though he is puzzled why he gets so many hearts - he is doing nothing but lounging casually in his backyard dressed in a simple layer of house robe with his hair in a loose mess because he doesn't believe in xianxia hairstyles.
