Quentin survives the Seam only to have a baby dropped uneremoiniously into the middle of all his trauma. He retreats to his dad's house where he, and the people that love him, begin the slow process of building something from the rubble.
Really this is just because I love Eliot and Quentin as parents, I want to write them as many happy endngs as possible and my sister just had a kid so I filled with baby knowledge and Emotions.

When Taylor, Jeremiah, Steven and Denise all show up late at the beach house on the 4th of July before Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding, the fireworks aren’t just in the sky. Taylor’s frustrated with Belly, Steven and maybe life. She enlists a reluctant Conrad in a fake dating scheme.
Taylor is playing two games, one to get Steven to stay away from his co-worker (or just walk away with a small piece of pride) and another to get her friend (whom she’s increasingly convinced isn’t over her first love) to admit maybe the wedding shouldn’t happen.
