Mafuyu couldn't explain the trouble he had with messes and certain feelings or textures well. It was just something he couldn't stand. It was a feeling of uncomfort, bothersome, and disruption. For example, he couldn't stand having messes on his face or fingers, it's why he avoided messy foods. His boyfriend Amane, who while a little strange was a good guy. He didn't understand Mafuyu’s issues at first, but throughout the relationship he learned and tried to help his boyfriend the best he could. It made Mafuyu incredibly happy that someone cared for him like that and tried their best to understand even if they've never felt the feelings before.
