Summary
“Ellia, it is a genuine pleasure.” He held his right hand out once more. She stared at the bandages, now slightly out of place by her pulling, and the slivers of exposed skin beneath: dark, purpling grey with a cracked-stone texture. Flashes of injuries and maladies skittered across her mind—nothing matched what she saw in him.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” she said with an indicating nod.
His smile turned wry. “Believe me, the damage there has already been done. But perhaps you’re right, and this will be better.” He swapped one hand for the other. A moment’s hesitation, then she accepted. His touch was warm. His skin more worn, more lived-in, than what she’d expected from a study-bound wizard. She wondered, dimly, what he felt in her hand. If the illusion would hold true under such direct connection, and what would happen if he realized who she truly was. But then his hand was gone and her wondering went with it. It didn’t matter. They wouldn’t be together long.
A novelization of BG3, reframed as a romance between Gale and a resistant Durge with alternating POVs. Elements of concept Gale. More Alfira. More Tara. More reactivity to Durge actions. Puns.
* = Explicit Content. Starts on chapter 40.

Summary
Some part of him could picture it then, could imagine telling her everything - speaking til dawn on his whole history. Spending the next day in this same spot, diving into what he knew of hers. Asking how it felt to gore that bard. Instead, he mirrored her smile - his own wicked grin for seducing and scheming.
“I’ve wanted to taste you since I first felt that pretty neck under my blade.”
And as her head fell back in a laugh, the white expanse of her neck on full display at his easy, overused line, he watched the golden girl fall into the palm of his hand.
---
COMPLETED.Astarion had known the woman's face immediately - Halia Dhune, the golden daughter of Baldur's Gate. The princess of the upper city. How many times had Cazador sent him after her - wanting to claim the socialite as a trophy to add to his awful collection? At least now he wouldn't have to go back to his master empty handed, should the tadpole situation not work out in his favor.
(or: what if the Dark Urge was a noble woman, perfect and popular, and her father's favorite fox in the henhouse. and of course, what if our dear vampire knew of her before the crash?)

Summary
"Your heart cracks in your chest as you finally recognise what that look in his eyes is.
Understanding. He understands.
It’s a relief, terrifying and dizzying in its way. You don’t know what he understands about it, what experience of his own he sees in you, but it’s that soft empathy in his eyes that lets you sigh softly, dropping your head to your knees once more as you speak that terrible hope you’ve clung to since the day you woke on that nautiloid.
“I want to be good.” "
a written account of how the dark urge's blackened heart learned to feel and, later, love again, while somehow dragging along astarion's own undead heart for the ride.

Summary
She is actually doing quite well for a time displaced young woman who has just finished a century-long battle with demon, and whose admittedly-few friends are all long dead, and who hasn't used her vocal chords or seen the sun in a hundred years.
(Intimidating word count, but it’s 4 manageable arcs.)
