He’s already lost it all, so why would he be afraid of losing a few limbs? They’d find replacements anyways. Even if they would never hold the same power, the same comfort of movement. At the time, a horrible, horrible thought had crossed his mind.
If only I was like Mydei.
To wish for a curse, one that has caused his companion nothing more than apathy to physical agony – it had been worse than the acid that had reached his soles. Summary
With being so busy through so much of his life, Phainon has never really had time to consider romance or his own sexuality. As a son, a student, and finally an employee, there was always something else he needed to focus on. Three mistakes one day at a bakery he'd never been to before was all it took for Phainon to finally think about both.
Mydei had never considered himself the type of person to be distracted by a pretty face. When a new group walks through the front door of his bakery though, he finds himself thinking about the pretty man with white hair and blue eyes than he appreciates.
