“Fuck, did you just twitch?” Max laughed breathlessly, grinding down once, letting Charles feel just how tight he was squeezing him. “Oh, you sweet thing. You don’t even know what you’re doing to me.”
Charles whimpered again, his blush deepening, his hands trembling on Max’s waist. “I-I don’t—” His voice cracked, sweet and desperate. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
Max groaned, kissing him again, moaning into his mouth. “Baby, you couldn’t. You’re making me feel like a goddamn dream.”
Another squeeze, deliberate, and Charles’s eyes rolled back again, his lips falling open in another helpless moan.

Summary
Max looks down at the warmer, at the baby lying in the bed, sleeping innocently without a worry in the world, his eyelids twitching. He knows this is his son, and he's supposed to feel something, but he feels nothing. He glances at Charles, who looks exhausted, with dark circles under his eyes, messy hair, and grimy skin. It's clear he's worn out from staying in the hospital for the past two weeks. Yet, Max can see the love in Charles' eyes. Charles has fallen in love with baby Oscar, and Max knows he has to learn to love him as well.

Summary
On the life of his whole career, Lando would swear he doesn’t mean for it to become a routine, the café.
Only, on Monday, Lewis stops technique to compliment Max’s extensions during centre adage – Max’s – and then directs his stupid, stuck-up, closed-lipped grin at Lando when he fucks up the timing of the same combination during his group’s rotation at it. And Lando can’t sit around the lobby avoiding everybody’s eyes after, feels like he’ll suffocate if he does, so he wraps his scarf around his neck another time and trudges the same four doors down, shoulders through the same door.
“Morning!” Oscar calls from behind the counter.
(Alternatively: Lando is a ballet dancer in timeout. Oscar works in a coffee shop. This is a Hallmark Christmas movie.)
