Tony swore he could have gotten whiplash from the speed his head whipped around towards the ceiling. He pushed himself up from where he was sitting in the lab, the noise of metal tools hitting the work station table filled the otherwise silent room.
“What's happening Fri, talk to me” He spoke, already heading towards the door.
“Peter requires your assistance.” The AI announced. Stark stopped in his tracks, silence filling the room as he reviewed the sentence his AI had just delivered to him in his head.
“Who the fuck is Peter.”
OR

It is a Wednesday in October, and Peter is standing on his front porch.
Tony can say with full honesty that he adores visits from Peter—eighty percent of the kid’s life is in the city between trying to finish grad school, Spider-Man, and his wife of almost a year now, MJ. Tony respects that, but it also means there are less trips for the Jones-Parkers up to the cabin than there used to be, and Tony misses Peter like crazy.
With Morgan away at college and Pepper determined to show the other execs at Stark Industries a thing or two about keeping up a good work ethic at an older age…Tony can admit that he gets a little lonely up here by himself. Any good company is appreciated.
Peter wants to ask Tony something important about his role in Peter's life. (Or: Tony finds out he's going to be a Grandpa.)

Steve walks down the hallway, in the direction of the living room.
Music is playing. He peeks his head around the door. Tony’s there. Smiling, looking happy and free. He hasn’t looked like that for a long time.
“Tony?” He makes no sign he’s heard him, just keeps dancing to music - some new pop song that Steve hasn’t learnt the name to yet. Another person walzes into frame, this one a teenger. Steve stares. He looks no more than 16 at most, wearing sneakers and a corny t-shirt with a scient pun on it.
“Tony, what are you doing?” Steve steps forward, “who is this kid?” Steve reaches for Tony, but he spins through his outstretched arms. The hologram splinters, dissolving in a multi-faceted sprinkle of what looks like glass. What’s left is the real Tony Stark, drunk to oblivion with a few - empty - bottles around him.
