Summary
Evans,
read the letter before you throw it away, will you?So, here's the thing, I've been instructed to invite you as Head Girl to the anual Potter Christmas Ball. My mum likes to give the seventh year students of the highest potential an in into politics and future job offers and what-not at this thing. It's on the twenty-seventh. Black tie. Pretentious pureblood nonsense. There will probably be old wizards discussing legislations and laws while drinking things that cost more then Sirius's life savings. It'll be boring and pretentious.
You should come anyways.
You can Floo in if you decide to come. Details enclosed. If not, enjoy the rest of your holidays!

Summary
He looked at her like she was magic. Like she was home.
When they reached the front, Lily kissed her mother’s cheek, handed off her bouquet to a beaming Marlene, and turned to James. Her hands trembled just slightly when he took them in his, and he squeezed gently, grounding her.
“You’re crying,” she whispered, teasing, her eyes dancing.
“You’re surprised?” he grinned. “Have you seen you?”

Summary
James needed another drink.
Unfortunately, the firewhisky had been abandoned back in the gallery, and James had no intention of returning just yet—not when his mother was probably still lurking around, armed with far too much insight and far too little shame.
So instead, he lingered in the library for a moment longer, attempting to gather his thoughts.
It wasn’t going particularly well.
Because Lily had been talking about him.
And not just in the casual, eye-rolling, Potter is an insufferable git kind of way she had at the start of the year. No, if his mother of all people had picked up on something, then it had to have been—
James exhaled sharply, pushing a hand through his hair.
He wasn’t sure how much longer he stood there, staring blankly at the grand bookshelves lining the walls, but eventually, the muffled sounds of the ball began to fade, replaced by the softer hum of voices filtering through the quieter corridors of the manor.
And then—
“There you are.”

Summary
Sirius was sprawled on the sofa with a Butterbeer in hand, his hair a mess and his tie dangling loosely around his neck.
“Oi,” he said, sitting up suddenly. “Where’s Prongs?”
The question drew a few laughs, but no immediate answers. Sirius glanced around, his gaze narrowing as he realized James was, indeed, missing again.

Summary
"What are you in for?" James hissed.
Remus faltered. "Sorry?"
"Detention?" He shot a look to the boy beside him for input, who leaned back to inspect him as a wicked grin spread over his face.
"I didn't…do anything."
"C'mon, Loony, there's got to be something. Did you come in late? Forget your homework? Use one of those self-writing quills from Zonko's? An Unforgivable?"
"Bit far, mate." The silver-eyed boy tutted.
"Eh, wouldn't be so sure. We could be sitting next to a criminal mastermind."
"It's always the quiet ones." Sirius shook his head in faux disappointment.
He was trapped between idiots.
or
Remus battles with the desperate need for a cure, and the constant reminder from his friends that he's human enough already. War gets in the way. A Marauders Era Longfic.
Disclaimer: I despise JK Rowling and in no way agree with her batshit views. All my love to my fellow trans folks!!

Summary
Welcome! Hi nice to meet you! I love All the Young Dudes. I’ve read all the extra chapters, read Sirius perspective by Rollercoasterwords, everything!
So a friend and I decided what if we at least try to write one from James perspective! This is inspired by MsKingBean89 and Rollercoasterwords.
I will try and post a chapter ever day but remember I’m only human and this is the first “book” I’ve ever written so be mindful.
Also to quote MsKingBean89 PLEASE DO NOT COPY TO WATTPAD. SERIOUSLY, WHY?? I agree please don’t!
I don’t support J.K Rowling in any way this fanfic just happens to be about characters she created but this is more of a fanfic of all the young dudes characters
Presenting All The Young Dudes James Perspective….

This is a Jily/Marauders-centric, Wolfstar baiting, Peter-has-a-personality, mostly-canon, chronological and multi-pov telling of what potentially happened throughout the years of 1959-1981.

Summary
“Oh.” Lucy said, “Oh, that’s fine– great! Awesome, actually. I’m so happy for you.”
“Thanks,” Lockwood said, still staring down at his palm. “I’m looking forward to it.”
It was a testament to how smitten he was, Lucy assumed, that he didn’t notice how off-kilter her expression was. The flicker of shock that had flashed across her face before her smiling congratulations would have been obvious even to a visitor.Or, Lockwood and Lucy are both idiots who need a giant billboard to tell them that their feelings may be reciprocated.
