Summary
Sparklings come out of the Well as feral little things, to survive until adults can help them. Some stay feral until they learn to talk.
Orion- the sparkling with Optimus Prime's spark- is one of them. But that's ok. Ultra Magnus, and all of Optimus' old team mates, will take care of him. He's going to grow up loved, happy, and just a little bit wild.
When his caretaker is the Wrecker Commander, that's all but assured.

Summary
There is a strange phenomenon in nature, wherein a creature forgoes its own abilities in favour of exploiting another. This occurrence is known as: parasitism. A subset of this is known as brood parasitism, in which a parent will leave their offspring to be raised by another to the detriment or even death of the non-parasitic offspring.
These parents are often fundamentally unable to care for their children, forcing them to rely on another to care for them.
Unicron, as chaos bringer and destroyer of world’s, is in a similar position. He fundamentally cannot care for humanity. However, there is someone who can.

The fog billowed aside as Ratchet waded and fought his way through it, slick mud clinging to his armor. His optics were wide, one servo transformed to a blade, the other out to catch himself if he stumbled.
