    A really unexpectedly good series of semi-post anime adventures (if Hitomi did not return to Gaia after Episode 24). Well edited and written, with a lot of world-building and darker themes/tones that expands upon what the anime had briefly shown. If there is a slow burn on the Hitomi/Van ship, its kind of obscured by the fact that the two have a lot of realistic arguments that just almost erases that ship. OTOH, the Hitomi/Allen ship is kind of there/not-there - in a good mirror of the anime.
