Summary
One-year-old Luffy gets kidnapped from Dawn Island by an unknown entity, never to be seen again. Most that knew of his existence believe he is dead.
Monkey D. Garp, Hero of the Marines, rejects this idea and starts investigating Luffy's disappearance almost a week after he goes missing, believing that his grandson survived and is somewhere out there.

Nine days after the event of God Valley Garp finds himself chained up with a Celestial Dragon that won’t leave him alone.
Eventually nine days transform into nine days and four months then nine days and eight months, etc, etc. In the end it has been 2 years since Garp has last seen a familiar face (and in some way he would have preferred it to stay that way).
