    Roy has always had to battle what feels like society at large to get anything in life, much less basic happiness. Once learning the fundamental fact that bullying people weaker than oneself makes one feel better, Roy hasn't looked back once.
    But now things are changing. One dark Halloween night reveals that there might be more going on in the stupid town he's been stuck in all his life.
    Roy's always hated change, but maybe with his two best friends, a couple of costumed freaks, and a depressed minimum wage employee he'll find a way to adapt.
    Or he'll be murdered by some form of unseen evil, whichever happens first.

    Nathan accidentally becomes the owner of the Undervale through a card game not long after he escapes his twelfth cult and feels trapped, miserable, lonely and unsure what to do with his life or how to really face his family. He was warned about the demon who lived on the property but can't stop himself from wanting to get closer to the boy.

    Nathan is depressed and sees a child shaped demon in the woods and decides 'this demon will be my son:)'
    Also we get to see some of Nathan's lore in his cults and part of why he's struggled so much with his mental health and finally found his place at the Undervale

    This can be read completely independently of everything else in the series. This is based on something I mentioned in a previous fic and several people really wanted expanded on. Even though it can be read independently there is more context for what Abaddon went through in the fic 'Things Can Always Get Worse'.
