    R2-D2 was hoping for a little bit of excitement when he was sent with Mistress Padme and Little Ani as part of Mistress Padme's protection. That was not what he got.

    Now, Jedi Kenobi is clearly in trouble. As far as R2 can see, the best way to keep Mistress Padme safe is to save Jedi Kenobi.

    Clearly, R2-D2 is the droid for the job.

    One of my favorite fics, Obi Wan leaves the Jedi order to fake a galaxy wide take over to delay a war by offering a third faction, but only after , R2-D2 frees him from Genesis. Obi-Wan accidentally steals Boba Fett from Jango, and Jango follows with a vengeance intending to kill obi but Boba likes Obi as everytime Boba tries to kill him Obi gives him tips.

    Obi-Wan steals the clones and droid by offering them freedom, and settles them all on Melida/Daan, where he starts receiving envoys, and Jedi "hostages" including Yoda at first and then Mace Windu and others., Brought by Quinlan Vos and Jocasta Nu. But great fic, undated to chapter 14.

    One Step Forward, Two Steps Back by

    Ahsoka Tano told Din to bring Grogu to the Seeing Stone on Tython, and Grogu would be able to call out to other Jedi. Ahsoka Tano did not say that other Jedi might call out to him or that the pillar of blue light was actually a type of planetary transportation.

    Din ends up on a planet he's never heard of with nothing but his armor and his child. A lot has changed but his mandate hasn't. He must reunite Grogu with one of his kind. But first, he has to help these ade win a civil war against the dar'buir who abandoned them.

    AKA Din goes back in time and doesn't realize it. He meets some other Mandalorians, gains another child, and then goes to Tatooine, because it's familiar enough to be called home.

    Din and Grogu go back in time to Melidaa and Daan and help Obi Wan survive and win with the help of the Mandalorians. Then they travel the galaxy hunting bounties before settling on Tatooine, freeing Shimi and free Tatooine from the Hutts

    I read this series again on 6/9/2026. The first one is good and kinda funny with a few sad chapters and in the end he kinda time travels for 5 chapters or something.

    The second fic is a chat fic with Boba, Fennec, Luke and Din. Funny and cute, it is rather short.

    In the last fic, Sin makes himself some clothes and needs permission to wear them when he is alone.

    The first fic is wonderful, with Din adopting another foundling and kicking ass to become Mandalor after he cuts a deal with the Manda in an underwater cave and rides out on a Mythosaur. Grogu is fucking hilarious, as is Erdo Bei-Dijarin, the Zabarak kid Din adopts.

    The second fic is hilarious until it ends on a cliffhanger! Read up to Chapter 8 of part 2, as on 6/16/2024

    Reread on 6/7/2026 up to chapter 9. I wasn't as big a fan this time. Lots of angst in the second one.

    “Mando only remembers he exists twice a day,” Fives deadpans.
    “When he speaks,” Cody corrects.
    “Guys, you don’t know that,” Bly says. “He could be just as smitten. Rex, you dated a Mandalorian once. Tell them.”
    All eyes land on Rex. He begins to sink into his chair.

    (Rex dated the Armorer back in the day and finds her again when he meets the guy who Boba is trying to court.)
