plural deliriums, deliriaPathology. a more or less temporary disorder of the mental faculties, as in fevers, disturbances of consciousness, or intoxication, characterized by restlessness, excitement, delusions, hallucinations, etc.
***Every thing has its time and the storm will surely pass.
What an absolute load of bollocks that was.If that were true,
why did some fall to their knees, tearing up their hair with tears streaming down their faces because of memories?
Why did some collapse and drown themselves in drugs just so they could live out their dreams longer, refusing to forget them?
Why did some break themselves into thousand of pieces again and again just to relive those memories with their loved ones, knowing full well they wouldn't come back to life?
And why did he still crack just because he sees and hears a far too familiar figure, judging, scorning, and mocking him every time the anniversaries of his ex-colonies come? Even though the pain of coughing up blood itself was already enough as it was.

Summary
“Stop talking so loudly, nobody else shall know about this. I merely had an accident is all,” Alfred interrupts louder this time. His face. is numb, he can barely speak, but it is all worth the sacrifice.
It's worth it that he will never have to look in the mirror and find the reflection of his father staring back at him. Well, maybe not quite father.England was— is worlds away from that. From having the privilege of that title.
He has stopped having it when the visits became less frequent, when his voice would get colder each time, and when he stopped tucking Alfred in.
or: Alfred doesn't look like his father. Not really. He doesn't until he looks in the mirror and sees that ugly mark on his face.
