Summary
He already knows what’s happened. He’s not fucking stupid. Soldier Boy, the blast. The lingering burning over his skin as his blood drips from wounds he can’t see because he doesn’t have the strength to move his fucking head. As the V in his body vanishes, taking with it all the power, all the things that justified his time in that cold barren lab. It makes his suffering moot, strips away the weight his time served had left on his shoulders.
