"Your mother didn't like you enough to keep you, Jason didn't like you enough to protect you, Dick didn't like you enough to stay, Bruce doesn't like you enough to hold a conversation with you, and don't even get me started on your grandfather." Every statement was accompanied by a finger counting each one.
Damian stumbled over his own feet, barely catching himself on the railing. He stared down at the darkness without seeing it as all his defenses failed him. He opened his mouth to rebuff him but all that came out was, "And you?"
"Do you really want to know about me right now?"
