“Yep. Yep, said his name,” Stiles confirmed, wincing. “Totally normal. Happens all the time. You know, just thinking about, uh —”
Derek leaned in a little, hands planted on the bed, either side of Stiles, boxing him in, voice low and unhelpful. “What exactly were you thinking about, Stiles?”
Stiles shot him a look. “Shut up,” he whispered furiously before raising his voice to respond to his dad. “Just thinking about Derek! Classic… fantasy.”

"I don’t need an assistant." Derek’s growl was low, his eyes flickering dangerously between their natural shade and something darker.
"Yes, you do." Laura's voice was firm, though her smile was sharp. “Peter needs one too. Should I assign Stiles to him instead, Derek?”
"No." Derek’s voice was tight, his nostrils still flaring, the red flicker in his eyes stubbornly lingering.
"I didn’t think so." Laura’s tone was smug as she placed a hand on Stiles' shoulder. The growl that rumbled from Derek was immediate, low and threatening. His eyes widened for a brief moment before he forced his teeth to clamp shut, cutting it off.

Peter nudged the window open so he could slide in. He didn't bother worrying about how loud it was when the window slammed shut behind him. He stopped in his tracks as he locked the window back up, his Peter Tingle telling him that maybe, just maybe, he wasn't alone in this room.
"Hello Peter. Do you mind telling me where you have been for the past 6 hours?" May asked, very calmly at first, which quickly wore off by the end of her question. Peter winced, slowly turning around to meet his Aunts gaze.
"Heh, yeah, sorry May. I forgot to text. I was working with Mister Stark, and it got late, so I just stayed at the compound for the night." Peter smiled warily, hoping - praying - May would believe him. I mean, it's not as if that hasn't happened before, many times.
"Try again." And yeah, shit. Peter knew that voice. The whole world knew that voice. Peter turned another 90 degrees, his eyes (and his senses, his stupid senses which don't really like giving him warning when he's this comfortable around someone) came into view of Tony Stark.
"Oh, hey Mister Stark."

Summary
Everything was going great for Alec and Magnus. Alec no longer cares what Maryse thinks, and apart from Jace and Izzy's constant teasing, he couldn't be happier. Then, all goes downhill when, after a great day, Magnus starts ignoring him. What did he do wrong? If only Magnus would tell him, he could try to make it better.
Or the one where Magnus thinks Alec is cheating on him but in reality he's not, but Magnus doesn't know that because the two of them don't communicate enough.
This will only be about 5 chapters unless I feel like expanding the story a bit.
