Summary
Lance stands in the middle of the ballroom, staring up at the skylight, at the stained glass arranged in a dizzyingly beautiful pattern. The walls are encrusted with gold and jewels and all sorts of gaudy decor, because Lance stands in the most expensive manor in the known universe, Veli Atarang.
"What are you doing?!" A voice yells, familiar, as the owner of said voice grabs his hand. He recognises it's Lotor, hands soft and brash. He absentmindedly wishes it was Keith. Regardless, he doesn't move an inch. Lance is enraptured. A moth to a flame.
Literally.
The ballroom is on fire.
OR
The new old Black Paladin has ulterior motives that no one else seems to see, the runaway Galran prince isn't as bad as he seems, and Keith is somewhere. Slowly, Lance begins to realise that maybe it was a good thing he made all those friends across the universe.

All is not right in the Voltron Coalition. Good thing Lance is here to do something about it.

Summary
Multi-chap ft. my headcannon that Lance is the team's unofficial medic. Basically, it's a 5 + 1 of Lance helping the others when they're hurt and them helping him, just with a couple extra chapters. Story is so much better than this summary, I swear.
Story is complete but the chapters did get revised so let me know whether you reckon it reads smoother now!

Summary
Lance has been working hard these past few weeks. Getting the newly set up infirmary being one of his most pressing concerns. Gone are the days of being put in a healing pod for every little injury. Of course that means someone has to run it, and what better person than the paladin who has been all but officially apprenticing under Coran since the Blue lion first brought him to the castle. If only the rest of the paladins would take him seriously.

Summary
Lance squints at him. “But you’re still bleeding! And it looks like it stings!”
Shiro shrugs, ignoring the small stab of pain from the deepest wound on his shoulder. “I’m okay.”
Lance sees right through his shrug, shaking his head and tutting (looking just like Coran, Shiro notes with amusement). He walks quickly over to Shiro and grabs him gently on the elbow of his prosthetic, guiding him carefully back down the hallway.
“Nope, nuh-uh. No avoiding medical care for you. Goodness, how do you lecture Keith when you’re just as bad?”
Shiro’s lip quirk up again. “I’m not as bad as Keith. Also, I’m his older brother. The rules of hypocrisy don’t apply to me.”
“You sound like Luis,” Lance says, snorting. “All older brothers are the same. Anyways, you’re not getting out of it! I have a first aid kit in my room and it’s closer than the MedBay, we’ll get you fixed up there.”

“That was once true.”
“But it’s not true anymore?”
“I’ve been… paying better attention. Noticing some strange things, things that didn’t make sense with the person I assumed you were.”
