Summary
Set against the unforgiving backdrop of a remote monastery, the story follows twin sisters Elsa and Anna, whose lives are bound to the rigid decrees of the elemental pantheon alongside their siblings: Lir, Ella (affectionately dubbed "Cinderella" for the sheer volume of things she has accidentally set ablaze), Aurora, and Olafur. Together, the family navigates the heavy demands of their divine patrons—Elsa serving Auril the Frost Dawn as a paladin in training, Anna serving Akadi the Queen of Air as a cleric, "Cinder" Ella channeling Kossuth the Firelord as a bard, and Aurora serving Silvanus the Oak Father as a mage.
When extreme tragedies strike the family, resulting in multiple deaths, the surviving siblings are sent away by their grandfather, Duke Haggard, to seek refuge in what he believed was the protective sanctuary of the Polaris Planetarium before his natural death.
