Summary
Damian empties the entire glass of water onto the not-monster’s head. The water flattens the not-monster’s hair down in pathetic clumps, water dripping from the creature’s face in puddles on the ground, and a droplet dribbles from the tip of its nose. It blinks once, then twice. Then, the not-creature makes a noise that sounds an awful lot like an exasperated sigh.
Damian hums. “So… you are corporeal. You are not a figment of my imagination. And you do not want to eat me?” Damian asks, eyes flying towards his abandoned weapon.
The not-monster nods.
“What…are you?”
It pauses.
Then, it makes a face of great…pain. As if the question itself had suddenly stuck some unforeseen injury, something hidden beneath its skin, a pulsing aching wound that Damian had managed to pinpoint. The creature was a strange one indeed, but eventually, it spoke. “Jason.”
“…That is your name?” The not-monster nods encouragingly. “That is not what I asked.” Damian huffs, crossing his arms.
Or, the first mistake Damian ever made was believing monsters looked like monsters.
Or, or, a fairy tale rearranged.

Summary
“You are an asshole”, Tim tells him blandly, giving up all hope that remained for his brain-to-mouth filter.
“That’s possible.” Jason grins. “But at least I’m an asshole passing my courses.”
_________________Because vigilantism is not an acceptable excuse for failing school, Tim gets assigned mandatory tutoring with scholarship student Jason Todd, who hides secrets Tim is dead set on uncovering. Meanwhile, at night, Tim, Dick, and Bruce are hunting down the new Crime Lord Red Hood, who has brutally taken over Crime Alley.

Summary
Bruce forbade eating in the cave after nine-year-old Dick smeared porridge over the Batcomputer’s keyboard, but that rule never did apply to Jason. “He needs to know he has unlimited access to food”, Bruce had stressed when Dick had complained, like an asshole. Like he didn’t know the kid starved on the streets for years before meeting Bruce. Like Dick’s teenage angst was more important than Jason’s knowledge that he was finally safe. (Or supposed to be. The food did not save his life, in the end. He did not feel safe enough to stay, and whose fault was that, if not theirs?)

Summary
Jason may have taken a Batarang to the neck, but his meticulously crafted revenge plan was now complete, enacted, and a chapter of his life he wanted so desperately to close. Red Hood was now a force to be reckoned with in Gotham's underground, and the criminal empire Jason built for himself was thriving.
He was still legally dead to the world, and that was fine. It made being a crime lord ten times easier until a college kid dies of an overdose, and reports say they saw Red Hood on the scene. In an attempt to prove his innocence, Jason gets his GED and enrolls himself in Gotham State University as Jay Boynton, an economics major and just a regular kid on a scholarship.
It was a work thing, a temporary thing that wasn't meant to last, but was it really so bad for Jason to want to finish his degree?

Summary
What if Bruce found him after he crawled out of his grave? What if he never became the Red Hood and escaped from the LoA to land near Dick's apartment? What if he never nearly killed the Drake boy in vengeful hatred he couldn't control? What if-what if- what if- it's all he has ever amounted to. "What if?" A million of those, even more.
...
There's no way, he begs silently. Don't make me do this again. He looks down and his heart damn near drops out of his ass. Right there, clutched in his hand so tightly his knuckles are white, is- you guessed it- a tire iron.
AKA Jason dies in the confrontation w Batman and the Joker and travels back in time to the very beginning!
