Every instinct Law had was telling him not to let this girl anywhere near them. She was small, wrapped in a bear hood topped with a crown and she had said she was scared, but the look in her eyes was one of a hunter, not prey. She was reaching out to both Straw Hat-ya and himself with a grape proffered in each hand. Straw Hat-ya was actually leaning in closer to the girl, was he really so driven by food he had become blind to danger? Or was he simply too naïve to notice? Either way the crawling of his skin reached a peak and he couldn’t help but step back. In the same moment the girl launched forward and her outstretched hand grazed Straw hat-ya’s arm.

Summary
Bellemere and Rosinante are in the Marines together and they have a weird relationship going on, their comrades aren't quite sure what's up between them. One day Rosinante was going to be sent on an intense mission, and Bellemere finally decided she had enough and kissed him. That led to the duo getting intimate in case they never had an opportunity again. He made it through safely and their intimate time becomes a regular occurrence before missions. Until Bellemere doesn't come back from a mission to Oykot, deciding to retire so she could raise the two children she found in the warzone. Fully unqualified to be a mother, she begins to learn what it means to be one while missing Rosinante.
