He peeked inside and instantly felt all tension leave him, mouth widening in a grin around his cigar.
Inside, a familiar mop of black hair pecked out from inside one of their sadder, smaller wash tubs. Cid could see he was sitting, curled up, in the tub barely holding his frame in all its muscled glory. The sides of the frame barely came up to his tiny little waist as he looked to be scrubbing his feet. There was a green bottle on the floor next to the tub, corked.
Cid’s stray he’d picked up not even a few weeks back.

Summary
Jessie gets thrown out from her job and decides to interview for a spot at the newly refurbished Hazbin Hotel. There she meets hell's head honcho, but they don't seem to agree on much. The two are forced to work together and become unlikely friends. But their past haunts them to this day and heaven is starting to act.
"As much as I love to be underneath a woman, I would appreciate it if you could remove the dagger." Jessie is shocked. Positively shooketh. Why is there a small man under her?
"Who are you?" she asks, pushing the dagger further into his throat.

Summary
Lucifer tries to forget about it, but there's no shaking the memory of Charlie's parting words to him. The painful truth that even his little girl had come to realise- that it truly was best if Lucifer left, that his very presence inevitably made everything so much worse.
Still, in the weeks after Lucifer had promised himself to try. But every time he got near a group of sinners, or ventured too far from the safety of his closed in walls, the memory of Charlie's words returned- and he'd always been too much of a coward to tune it out.
In which Lucifer is not coping well in the aftermath of Season 2, and finds himself falling back into his self-imposed isolation even above the roaring popularlity of the Hotel.
