Okkotsu stops in his tracks.
His sword is half-raised, as if he’d suddenly paused the motion halfway. His breath, ever so steady throughout the course of their fierce battle, audibly hitches. And those dark eyes, cold and piercing, suddenly widen.
“Itadori,” Okkotsu breathes. “You’re an omega?”
Yuuji unexpectedly goes into heat while battling against Okkotsu, an alpha. Neither of them can fight what comes next.

If the uniform wasn’t already a mourning colour, Okkotsu would have dressed himself as such. His heart, Sukuna suspects, is a bleeding one just like the brat’s and he wonders would he die of conniption first before all his fingers are to be consumed.
In which Sukuna is very much an (un)willing spectator to the 'childhood' friends.
