Summary
Writing stories from the background of my RPG Character and her sister. Maybe some other characters. wanted somewhere easy to keep them and share them. Some are made with the help of Chat GPT, but mostly just so i can ask questions like "what do christians pray for" and "How would a christian react to (X)" and "what is a nun, really?" lol. occasionally i'll use it for more if i've hit a block, but i try to avoid it.

Summary
Things had been normal. Maybe even good. It had been looking to be a nice, normal day. Then Jason rounded the edge of an aisle in a grocery store and made eye contact with a stranger. The Pit rose just for a moment, shining out of Jason's eyes in a flash, and then faded like a sigh.
And then the stranger’s eyes flashed green in an echo.
The stranger said “Oh,” and smiled, like she recognized a friend.
Jason's hand twitched towards his gun, but he didn’t follow through. The stranger’s eyes tracked the motion and her eyebrows pinched.
“Are you…” she trailed off.
“What the fuck.” Jason says, eloquently.
This was supposed to be a normal day.— — —
or: Jason Todd and Jasmine Nightingale (née Fenton) meet by chance in a soup aisle. Despite the title, most of the existential revelations happen after they leave the store.

Summary
Nightwing invited the Red Hood to patrol Bludhaven with him, and Jason's feeling pretty pissed off when Dick fails to show and leaves him to patrol alone in the pouring rain. He goes to Dick's apartment intent on making his feelings clear on the matter (yelling at his brother and storming off) but that gets quickly derailed when he finds Dick, nearly unresponsive, curled up in the dark of his room.

Summary
Title from Broken Bells - The High Road
The Doctors Fenton caught Phantom, finally. Then find an interesting business opportunity in Gotham, so they move. They take their science experiment with them. In this new city, Danny gets a chance he never had back home- a way out. He escapes, but he's so very injured, and he doesn't get far before collapsing.
Lucky for him, a passerby in a red helmet spots him and offers help.

“Damian,” Bruce says, very slowly, “do you know someone named Jason Todd?”
Damian frowns at him. “No?”
“Real tall guy,” the Joker suddenly pipes up from the holding cell, “white streak in his hair. Kinda looks like Bruce Wayne, if you ask me!”
Damian blinks. “Oh. Well, I do know a Jason that fits that description, but his last name is not Todd.”
“What the hell is it then?”
Damian frowns harder. “Al Ghul.”
And just like that, Bruce’s worldview goes to complete and utter shit.

Or: Jason decides that if someone has to be a monster in this world’s shadows, it might as well be him. This decision might’ve been influenced by the fact that Talia al Ghul decided to spring her son on him and also gaslight everyone into believing that Jason is her eldest child. Also, he kills his pseudo-grandfather and kind of accidentally becomes the new R’as al Ghul, because by now, he’s way too deep in Talia’s con-shit to back out.
…It all goes over surprisingly well.

Only when the time comes, Jason…can’t do it.
Now he’s stranded 3,000 miles from Gotham with nothing but a smart-mouthed Robin, a beat-up pickup truck, and a dream.
You know what they say: take me home, country roads.

Jason goes to Titans Tower to attack Tim. Instead, the two road-trip across the country from San Francisco back to Gotham. Featuring greasy diner food, shitty motels, talks about trauma in the bed of a pickup truck, and as many metaphors about roads as I can possibly cram in here.

Jason drives forever and ends up exactly where he started.
