i have a headcanon that obanai is often in a ton of pain because of his facial scar and once the other hashira eventually learn about it, if they see him cradling his face or hear him wincing and croaking im pain, they help accordingly. with the type of scar obanai has there isnt really much they can do aside from provide him some support and stay with him… its a scar that resulted from having his mouth slit to his ears and it isnt something they typically encounter. he is in pain 24/7 (facial pain/mouth pain is extremely intense) … hes always suffering ):
