    Necromancy is not a very socially accepted quirk. Being the fruit of his mother's affair doesn't win many favors with his father.

    Neglectful mother. Abusive father. Bullying at school. Abandoned by his best friend. Izuku's life since his quirk manifested has just been downhill.

    Of course, let's add abandonment into the equation as well. Why not? How does a six-year-old survive alone in a society that apparently hates him?
    Izuku has a practical solution. Zombies!

    The Justice League are having trouble with a ghost and Constantine really want to deal with it before the ghost's king comes to collect his wayward subject. Bruce thinks it sounds like a good solution for someone to come and collect the untouchable enemy until he suddenly, horrifyingly, doesn't.

    Barry let out a yelp and Bruce instinctively flinched backwards as he could feel his skin tingling, hands spasming, muscles twitching, and hear stuttering in his chest as the electricity in the air surrounding them increased increased increased.

    “The king has arrived,” Constantine choked out through clenched teeth.

    Really, Danny just wanted to take Skulker back to the Zone.

    Summary

    This series came to be from my early thoughts about Batman and Robin when I had just entered the fandom.
    Basically I asked myself two questions: 1) what ever possessed Batman to take in a circus orphan out of the blue? Because I knew he "saw himself" in Dick, but Batman had to have interacted with dozens of newly orphaned kids, and he never took them in.
    2) what ever possessed Batman to let said orphan become a vigilante?

    This series answers those two questions.

    Danny Fenton is not okay. TM.
    Honestly? Just overall bad vibes.
    But he's doing his best. Making it work. And trying not to become fully dead in the process.

    The Justice League is very concerned. But it's actually their fault they got involved so take that one, Batman.
    John Constantine told them not to do the thing. They did it anyway.

     

    Or, Danny gets summoned by the League, and he actually kind of adopts them in the process. Because these big city heroes don't know anything about ghosts and who is he if he doesn't help them out? Besides, the Watchtower is in space. Danny's always wanted to go to space...

     

    (I'm not really following any specific JL timeline, so like. Be prepared for 98% of everything to be *made up* and possibly *not real*.)
